5 best parks in Chelyabinsk.

  1. Park Gagarin. The largest park of the city. All-purpose place to stay. There are rides, playgrounds and possibility to rent a bike. It is located in the forest zone, that makes the park so unique. In the park there are entertainment for all ages. For example, on the weekend older people can dance and enjoy the live music. Parents with children love this place, because they can show birds and squirrels to their children. It is a good place to relax from the city rush and I really recommend to do this in the morning.

  2. The second most popular park is Pushkin Park. The name of the great Russian poet is present here in many places. Here there is a life-size statue of Pushkin and you can take a picture. The park is located in the center of the city and includes many attractions, cafes and a small summer scene. The park is not far from the railway station and if you have a few free hours, you can spend them here. For example, you can visit the restaurant “White horse” or just buy ice cream.

  3. Garden of Victory. The name speaks for itself. The people, who are fond of military equipment, will like it most. Here there are real tanks and combat vehicles. They are available to everyone. You can sit on them and make good photos. If you visit Chelyabinsk with children, they will definitely like this place. No child will not pass by the real tank!

  4. Park Scarlet Field. This is a meeting point for young people. There is everything here for them. For example, sports grounds, shops, benches and alleys for walking. The park has good location. It is close to public transport, a public library and a small shopping center. If you want to chat with local young people, then this is the best place.

  5. Park of Tereshkova. This park is completely different from the previous ones because it has not been repaired for more than 30-40 years. Take place only small works. Therefore, if you enjoy old lanterns, curbs or fences, then you will like this park. Coming here you can easily feel the past and observe old attractions. You can walk here enjoying the silence, because you will not meet many people. I recommend to visit the park in the summer, because in winter it seems completely abandoned.
