By the way, going through my previous post of amazing places in Qui Nhon just recall me one more important topic that I have still owed you guys :blush: I think you guested it…. Yay, that’s food. I am not sure how your thought is, but food is truly an indispensable component that immensely attracts me whenever putting my legs to explore any new lands. So, I am absolutely sure that you are being curious how local foods in Qui Nhon are and where you can find it. Let’s run!!!

1. Bún Chả Cá Qui Nhơn – Fishcake with vermicelli

Contributing as the first character in a list then you can see how popular it is as one of the best local food you cannot miss when traveling to Qui Nhon. Of course, the main ingredient is fishcake which are inclusive of two types of fish: steamed and fried fishcake. People usually choose mackerel, flying fish or short-finned lizardfish to make this special fishcake but especially the mackerel. It will be a perfect combination with a sweet noodle soup that is carefully cooked from fish’s head and bone. Then, glutinous rice flour is ready to mix with crushed ramie leaves…Yup, it’s done for the crust. How about the inside of a cake? Depending on each place, people may use various ingredients such as green bean, black bean or coconut cooked with sugar or even salty taste with shrimps and pork. The cake will be wrapped into a dynamic shape by banana leaves after handing over the fire and covering with peanut oil. That is going to the end of a progress by taking those cakes for steaming. Wow, when I saw the words Fish Cake! I’m drawn to your post directly, I am a big fan of it.

All of the dish here looks delicious, I am particularly curious about the Jellyfish noodle. I only had jellyfish Chinese style as a cold appetizer. As you can see in the picture below.

Have you tried this version of jellyfish?
