4 days in Amsterdam travel during Covid time _August 2020

Hi all from Local guide,

We had a travel to Amsterdam, and we rather enjoyed our holidays there during Covid time (August 2020)

The restriction measures were applied in city by wearing mask and keeping distance 1.5m. We were asked wearing mask in the crowded area in the city, i.e. Red light district. It makes more safe to travel there!

After landing at Schiphol airport in the southwest of Amsterdam, we took the bus 397 to Museum area, where we found very clean, tidy, open air, and more public space than the innercity. We checked in at the Hotel City Hotel Amsterdam, and rushed excitedly to the square of city. The channels in city is amazing!

The next day we visited the museum of VanGogh and Rijkmuseum. The former is smaller and have intensive collection of Van Gogh works; the latter is bigger and contains not only painting collection from 12 century until 19th century but also sculpture, ceramics,… and other antiques.

We had one day to visit the countryside, including the Vollendam, Mark, booked with tours and ticket company. We visited the shoe maker house, cheese house, Stroopwafel (caramel wafflel - super sweet for me).

We like seafood so we visited many time at Seafood bar for wide range of seafood and oyster.

We wish to visit again for smaller museum.

Good luck with some who plans to visit Amsterdam.
