360° Video of Lake Rousseau, Florida w/ interesting facts & history !!

Inglis, Crystal River Springs Florida Lake Rousseau Reservoir

This short video was taken on a nice sunny day in Homosassa, Florida.

INTERESTING FACT: Lake Rousseau sits just South of the Inglis channel,

Which is a MAN-MADE waterway that was going to span the entire width across

the state of Florida! READ MORE HERE.

Lake Rousseau is currently fighting evasive plants species and has formed

a Facebook group (LINK) and is making efforts to find an environmentally sound solution!

We discovered Lake Rousseau while enjoy travel and exploration with our dogs. Together

as a family we document and upload new areas to Google Maps all the time! Lake Rousseau

is pet friendly, offers fishing, kayaking, hiking, and nearby equestrian trails. Spending a day

outdoors here for recreation is great, very close to nature. You cannot even purchase food

or beverage here. But you can enjoy the beautiful view on top of the dam overpass where

this video was taken on a Samsung Gear 360° camera (fully compatible w/Street View and recommended for ease of use). There is no swimming! And also beware there is plenty of

dangerous wildlife. Soon we will explore and shoot the entire North side in 360° !!!

Thank you for sharing your 360 video. What camera did you use to shot it? Can you swim in the lake? Is it allowed?
