360 degree product photography

Hi, I just started with 360 photography and think it’s really fun and interesting. Is there anyone here who has experience 360 degree product photography? I am very curious to get going with this. I have googel, but I find no useful information.

Hi!

I am a sports photographer from the beginning, but I think it’s really fun and interesting with 360 photography.

Are you interested in 360 product photography too? do you have any experience of 360 product photography?

Sincerely Mats

hi Mchael,

I have been using 360 solutions and also editing 360 videos. the best solution i find so far is the Samsung 360 gear camera that would take picture and video at 4K resolution. i think out of the box that would be hands down the best so far.

Hi, thanks for the info. Yes, i am very familiar with 360/3D pano cameras for images and videos. I have done a fair share of testing with available solutions (initially with the Ricoh Theta which was one of the first consumer grade 3D dual sensor cameras). I have yet to test the samsung 360 fgear camera however am quite familiar with Samsung Project Beyond and their more commercial grade 3D camera (http://thinktankteam.info/beyond/) as I am interested in possibly doing some development work (SDK) for this.

The answer i had provided above was specific to 360 product photography. 360 product photography (see 360 product photography example) is vastly different from 3D panoramic photography.

I just started using the Gear 360 for street view and places photography. So easy to use just click and publish, stitching is automatic. Works great!

Thats typically known as 360 object photography. best shot on a slightly hot background which can be removed by automated actions in photoshop doing a batch action. been shooting product objects since mid nineties for commercial websites, remember boo dot com  ?
