302 reviews reduced to 1, invisible to others

The first alarm: my points suddenly dropped from 13,223 to 12,965, which is equal to 8 consecutive reviews posted 01-07 May. Second alarm: on screen, yesterday reviews and photos suddenly dropped from 302 and 582 to 5 and 165. Third alarm: today, review count dropped to 1, the photo count vanished, and the Local Guide 7 icon turned into the non Local Guide blue icon. Fourth alarm: all of my reviews and photos are now invisible to others on their computers. I can see the entirety of my activity on my own computer. Curiously, my android device, and a friend’s apple device, show all of my reviews and photos.

I have tried signing out and back in, without success. I have tried taking down and resubmitting my most recent review, also without success. I have confirmed that “don’t auto-delete activity” is engaged. And just now, I received an email confirmation of 4,163,796 photos viewed that simultaneously calls me a “Novice Reviewer” (2 reviews) and a Local Guide 7 (302 reviews). Does anyone have any idea what is happening here?

After reading your post, I looked at your profile and I saw 302 reveiws and 582 photos on the reviews and photos counter… Nevertheless only 2 reviews are visible to me and 157 photos on the reviews and photos counter.

Is it possible all other reviews have been marked private? You maybe in serious trouble of violations of the rules and guidelines.

Perhaps @MortenCopenhagen is an expert at issues like this.

My guess from the 2 public reviews is:

You write very long reviews. This increases the risk of being taken for a spammer.

Also, the following text:

“If you would like to read more reviews of BBQ in Kansas, or elsewhere in the continental US, you can consult our 49 published lists by following us, and then scrolling down through the current stack of reviews and photos. Here you will find 567 ‘cue joints that our research suggests might be worth a visit.”

implies that you are “more” than a private individual. Maybe a brand. This is against the guidelines.

According to the Local Guides Program Terms and Conditions
Organizations, brands, and businesses are not eligible for the Program.

All your reviews could be gone in days for this reason.
