The Kedarnath Temple is believed to have been built by the Pandavas during the Mahabharata era, over 3,000 years ago, as per Hindu mythology. However, the present structure is thought to have been reconstructed by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century CE. The exact year of its original construction remains unknown due to its ancient origins.
