Hello,
the place PLAYA DE VARGAS is listed 3 times on Google Maps. Here’s the link to my search:

One at a street junction near to the beach but NOT on the beach - I could not at all edit this listing as I wasn’t given the edit option.
One ON the beach but as a duplicate of the nearby and also listed camping site (it’s a public beach and not part of the camping site). I reported the duplicate as duplicate and it is now reviewed.
And one it is ON the beach - I could not at all edit this listing as I wasn’t given the edit option.
How can I go about to have the only real listing be recognized as such and the other ones either deleted or merged with the only real one.

I suspect that @Cinamon that some of those places aren’t fully formed which is the usual reason why they don’t have the edit option. Can you provide links to each of the places so I can see them?

Also, there’s no category for “BEACH”, only beach resort, beach boutique and more like this. In the Canary Islands we have thousands of beaches and I have a real hard time listing them, because of the missing category

Yes, these do look like poorly formed places on Maps @Cinamon
I think perhaps @GeorgesHR might be the best placed to deal with this, he seems to like interesting Maps issues that need escalation.
