When I first joined the Local Guide program I thought
but as soon as I started using it I understood its potential.
I really didn’t expect that my commitment could grow that much, and here I’ll try to summarise the main 3 things that surprised me of Local Guide:
GET INVOLVED 
I liked since the beginning how Local Guide asked me to contribute in order to enrich the information on the Maps. From the quick surveys on places, to sharing pictures (my favourite thing! 
), to writing reviews. It’s very playful and I personally feel part of this big community of local guides.
DISCOVERING 
It often happens that I want to do new things, discover new places, try something new to eat, and I want to be sure that it’s worth to go in a new place. Thanks to local guides in all the countries I visited I’ve visited the best places from pubs 
to museums 
and took the best selfies in greatest panoramic views 
.
BE HELPFUL 
Last, but not least, I didn’t expect that my contribution could be seen from so many people! I’ve just reached 2 Million views, and it seems amazing. I’m very happy that a lot of people trusted my advises and this is what really push me to contribute even more.
