My friend got a simple google maps pin for getting 10k views on one image. I have 2 mill and I got nadaaaaa & I don’t think that is fair:face_with_peeking_eye:. Does anyone agree or am I just being overly sensitive

I dont understand on what basis they are giving the pin. A lv 5 getting this, where i am lv7 still have no clue of it.

There is no pattern, and there’s no fairness in who gets rewards. It is just a marketing gimmick.
My motivation is the joy of knowing that I’m helping a lot of people and businesses. Also, making new friends here on Connect can be considered a great peek. I find it very rewarding being a Local Guide.
Hang in there, keep up the good work and maybe one day it’ll be your turn.

I definitely understand where your coming from. I feel the same way. I would be so proud to be recognized by Google! It’s a real bummer that it’s just luck though. But don’t worry, hopefully our time is coming up!!! Great Job so far, that’s awesome!!! Keep up the good work!!!
