achievment to its finest but no perks received… Is this related to the phisical address/location?

@Stef_Angelo it’s great to see your achievements. Congratulations on getting to Level 8!
Just a reminder that Local Guides signed up as volunteers to help other people (map users) with useful information. It means that we are doing it out of fun without expecting anything in return.
Whatever LGs get are perks. Your badges are perks too!
So keep adding useful information to help people in your community, support local businesses to grow, assist people with disabilities to find accessible buildings and meet other LGs to make friends.
I’ll also suggest you read the Local Guides policy to understand the programme, perks and other FAQ!

Hello there. Thanks for your feedback. I have been and continue contributing as a volunteer. When it comes to perks, at the beginning of the program the link provided was mentioning what one is getting upon achieving a level-Google Play credits, 1 TB GDrive space etc. And this has changed in the recent past. However in different forums I see Local guides posting pictures of Hotel discount vouchers, Google socks etc. My question is - Are these distributed and allocated depending on the LG location and considering other factors not listed in the FAQ?

Mein Kenntnisstand ist, dass es momentan für Deutsche Local Guides keine besonderen “Sachprämien” gibt. Du bekommst nach einiger Zeit vielleicht mal einen Gutschein für GooglePlay, das ist aber ein sehr kleiner Betrag.
Für Deine Bilder, die Du auf GoogleMaps hochlädst steht Dir unbegrenzter Speicherplatz zur Verfügung.
Die echten Vorteile sind aber tatsächlich die Community. Vielleicht hast Du Lust im Mai an unserem europäischen Meetup in München teilzunehmen?
Wenn Du antwortest nutze immer ein @ vor dem Usernamen, dann ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit größer, dass Deine Nachricht gesehen wird.

Es ist Schade, dass die Situation mit den Perks für Local Guides in Deutschland momentan so ist.
Leide kann ich in der Woche im Mai außer Stuttgart fahren aber gerne würde ich nächstes Mal teilnehmen.
