Contributing to Google Maps has always been a passion of mine. Exploring new places, traveling, shopping, and trying local cuisines excites me, and sharing those experiences through reviews and photos on Maps feels incredibly fulfilling. Over the years, I’ve received two goodies as a Google Maps contributor, which motivated me even more!
This year, my Local Guide journey took an exciting turn. In March 2024, I discovered the Local Guide community in Pune through @Praniketmore. My first in-person meetup was at the historic Aga Khan Palace, where I met of @TusharSuradkar sir (Connect Moderator)along with fellow Local Guides, including @ShubhamWaman and @AjitThite Sir.
This meetup opened doors to the amazing local Guides Connect Portal, where I actively contributed and earned a total of 9 badges
The latest one being awarded today!
Another highlight of 2024 was reaching the significant milestone of Level 8 on Google maps.
This year, I attended 8 meetups in Pune, including the Mega Meetup in October, where I met Local Guides from other states. @RosyKohli ma’am, @Sagarkanherkar, @Supriyadevkar, @SaylliWalve1 , @bhayani_naitik @ModNomad sir and many more.
Each meetup was an opportunity to learn something new about Maps, Connect, and the broader community. These moments enriched my journey and strengthened my bond with this incredible community.
My contributions to Maps have grown significantly this year, from adding photos to writing reviews that help others explore with confidence.

The last meetup of 2024 was the 1-Year Meetup Anniversary, where we celebrated the milestones we’ve achieved as a community.
As I wrap up this wonderful year, I want to thank all Local Guides for their support and inspiration.
My goal of 2025 is to actively participate in meetups, contribute more on connect and Google maps.
