2020 Local Guide Goals

At the start of every year I sit down and write down my goals, 5 simple, achievable goals for the year. This year I thought about Google Local Guides and thought hmm I should have Goals for Local Guides too!

This years goal is the Master Directors Badge, I’ve worked hard at the other Master badges over 2019 but neglected the Directors Badge a bit,

Achievable? I need to upload another 550 videos! That’s 12 a week for the rest of the year, sounds hard but I’m going to give it a go!

:point_right: What are your Google Local Guide Goals for 2020? Would love to know below :grinning:

Much love from New Zealand, Bronson.

Congratulations on all of your achievements so far. Best wishes to you on your journey on all the videos! It is definitely achievable! I too, must work on this badge. I have not been doing as many videos ever since I got a 360 camera. I have been slacking on my videos.

But my goal this year is actually something maybe strange. I want to try every single restaurant in my city! I am currently getting roughly 3 to 5 new restaurants a week. Trying their food and also opening my mind to new foods. It is challenging some days because I have to try food I have never tried in my life! I’m doing well at being open minded though. I don’t think I can possibly do all of them this year, as they are constantly opening something new, but I will certainly make a large dent in the amount of places to choose from.

I wish you the best on your travels! I hope others also share their goals as well!

All the best to you, keep going.

Hello @AdventuresWithRosy

nice to have some goals related to our game

I have to say, as I visited your profile on Maps I’m now quite jealous… Very nice surroundings you are visiting.

My goal: To add some more countries to my contribution list and have many Meetups around Europe!

Awesome @TorM that sounds like a great idea about Europe!

I am yet to attend a Local Guides Meetup, I need to attend a few this year I reckon!

Thank you @AdventuresWithRosy ! My city has just shy of 90,000 residents with a fairly large financial district. We are always adding new restaurants in our city, so it is definitely proving to be a difficult challenge.

I decided to go with an insta 360 one x camera and I really enjoy it. It does well with GSV and it stitches everything together for me. It’s a great beginner 360 camera, I would say. If you do decide to go with that particular camera, I would suggest buying the bundle kit that comes with more accessories. I bought only the camera and ended up having to buy the accessories separately and it ended up costing me much more in the long run.

Best wishes to you! If you have any more questions, feel free to ask! Cheers!
