2020 Craziness, from Becoming a Local Guide to Social Distancing on Local Mountain Trails

I’m not sure how your 2020 has been, in your part of the world. Mine has been pure craziness! I spent a lot of hours out on local mountain trails, to stay active while social distancing during the pandemic. Then as I visited a shop to look at new hiking gear, I realized that Google Maps didn’t have a picture of it and that led me to becoming a Local Guide! :mountain_biking_man:

I am learning a lot about learning to be a Local Guide. It has been interesting to see which type of images get more views. In my area, it seems that pictures of hard to find random places draw the most attention. I would love to hear if you find this to also be true where you live.

I’m one of those people who doesn’t like to appear in photographs, so these might be the only shots that you see of me, haha.

As the end of 2020 draws near, I want to wish you and your loved ones all the peace, safety, love and happiness that is possible. I look forward to meeting more of you virtually and maybe one day in person if the universe should bring us together.

Best wishes from Virginia,

I am Steven.
