Google for Indonesia 2018 #Google4ID is third annual event to introduce Google features and products in Indonesia. The event took place at Ciputra Artpreneur in Jakarta.
it’s a honor and pride for us and all local guides in indonesia to be able to help many people by contributing to Google Map by adding local information, edit, review photo,business information to help provide accurate and better information for everyone in need.
Local Guides in Indonesia’s contribution is the fifth largest contribution in the world ( google presentation 2017), Product Management Google Maps Director, Krish Vitaldevara said ;
“To build accurate reliable and comprehensive Maps we need more than data and machine learning, we are incredibly fortunate to have a user who are passionate about contributing to maps and making the maps reflect the world that they living, we called them local guides”
Indonesia is among our fastest-growing countries and one of the largest local community community in the whole world. Just in the last years, the number of local guides in Indonesia grew by 40%

Saya sangat merasa senang bisa menghadiri acara tersebut. Ternyata banyak sekali kontribusi para Local Guides di acara tersebut yang menjadi semakin komplitnya google for Indonesia.
Di mulai dari penambahan tempat, review, edit tempat, penambahan foto foto terbaru hingga pembenahan lokasi yang berpindah tempat dan edit informasi tempat. Sungguh sangat senang kontribusi kita di maps bisa menjadi bahan dasar secara data untuk kemajuan google di Indonesia.
Banyak mendapatkan informasi mengenai produk google lainnya dan langkah langkah yang sedang dikembangkan google hingga saat ini masih berlangsung.
Harapan kami semoga terlaksana sesuai rencana dan bermanfaat sesuai yang diharapkan.

I like to see your Instagram with a steam train, we only have a few left in Indonesia. some in museum.
The steam train called Puffing Billy is a living operating 26km long museum @RahmatHarmanP - I spend quite a bit of time there as a volunteer. We run trains every day of the year except Dec 25th. At this time of year the railway is incredibly busy with up to 13 train movements along the line each day.
It is cool that Indonesia has also preserved some trains. In our museum we have a Shay geared locomotive from Thailand that we hope to restore one day.
