2008: USA - National Parks by rental car

In September 2008 me and my wife started an amazing round trip by car through some national parks.

After two nights in Las Vegas we went to Salt Lake City / Utah. Next morning we drove to Yellowstone NP and spent 2 nights there.

Then we went to Keystone (Mount Rushmore). Afterwards we saw Arches NP, Bryce Canyon NP, Grand Canyon north rim, Antelope Canyon, Mesa Verde NP, Zion NP, Grand Canyon south rim, Route 66 and Las Vegas again.

After 3 great weeks we left USA.

2008-09-09 to 2008-09-29: Tour by rental car to and through some US - National Parks:

2008-09-29: After 3 great weeks we left USA for Germany by plane.

Hallo Erna, meine Frau und ich wollten ja in diesem Jahr mit unserem Enkel Alexander für 3 Wochen mit dem Mietauto durch die USA fahren.

Ich hatte schon einen ganz tollen Reiseplan angefertigt. Jetzt stellte es sich aber heraus, dass wir dafür etwa $ 18,000 aufbringen müssten.

Das ist uns zuviel; das können wir nicht leisten. Es ist alles sehr viel teurer geworden.

Jetzt sind wir 3 sehr traurig!

Mit den beiden Tonaufnahmen meiner eigenen Kompositionen komme ich auch nicht weiter. Die Pause an der Yamaha-Orgel war sehr lang, mindestens 15 Jahre.

Ich übe aber jeden Tag.
