Hello @O_Nate
Adding roads has become my new found LG activity. I have 20 roads added in the last few weeks. Some 2 more Emails came in today as well. Although I have drawn almost 100 roads, the approvals are quite slow to come yet, am happy for the few approved ones.
Congratulations and best of lucks.
Cheers

@SholaIB well, that is incredible. I am super excited to hear that you are able to add that many roads.
Here in Cork, most of the roads have been already added to Gmaps.
Our newest endeavor has been adding or renaming bike racks. LoL
Well @O_Nate
Remember I am in Weet Africa and in Nigeria for that matter. It’s an underdeveloped /developing country and continent. That’s why am using the opportunity wisely.
Ireland is far more developed than Nigeria,so I am taking advantage of that to add as many roads as possible. I found it far easier and more useful that other LG activity. The problem is, the approval is very slow in coming. You practically have like 1 in 20 Road edits approved, which is a cord!!! I have loads of roads drawn but only 20 approved. The last 2 haven’t reflected yet,I should have 22 roads added now.
Keep contributing man.
Cheers

Yes, you are in a developing country. However, the pain is the same. Here in Ireland you may add a road. However, it usually is not accepted. Now, if you work for city council, then your roads would be accepted.
You may want to chat w your local council and see if you can collaborate on a project. Who knows they may give you an official position. Hahahaha.
Look at adding other obvious things: bike racks, street vendors, recycling depot, and parking lots.
Enjoy the ride.

Hahaha. That sounds interesting really but I think I have enough as a volunteer, taking on a role for them and goggle is not really in my plans for now. It’s interesting to work on an anonymous basis like other LGs.
I haven’t really read about the other things you mentioned but maybe it’s gradually. I’ll learn how to add those other ones. Thanks
