150 Tourist Attractions in Chennai - Local Guide Discovering neighbourhood

The greatest benefit of being a local guide is that I am discovering my own neighbourhood.!!!

Here is the link for the 150 Tourist attractions in Chennai

(This list includes First Chennai railway station, World war memories, famous temples, Oldest university, Museums, entertainment etc)

Before I became a Local guide, I never knew such places existed within my city. I was only aware of a handful of familiar places, therefore I always wanted to visit places that are outside my city and country.

But after becoming a local guide every day I am discovering new places within my city. Hope my list will increase soon and I welcome other local guides to share their discoveries.

Therefore being a local guide is a great privilege to discover our own neighbourhood!!!

I wish all the Local guides who are involving in this noble task and also invites you all to visit Chennai, India.

@JohnPeter Wow… very useful link, i have bookmarked it. I spend lot of time to find day out locations in Chennai. I haven’t visited so many locations in your list. Shared it with my biking friends really usefull link sir. I’ll share few other locations in Chennai what I have visited.

Podobno na dworze cesarskim żaden posiłek nie mógł się powtórzyć w ciągu roku. Aż trudno wyobrazić sobie to bogactwo menu!

@KatyaL Przepraszam za lakoniczność opisu, ale nie jest to miejsce szczególnej uwagi: rozległy trawnik, na którym rośnie kilka starych drzew, dosadzono krzewy, postawiono kilka ławek wzdłuż chodnika i ułożono ścieżkę rowerową.Może to jest najsilniejszy akcent całego terenu.Jest to ulubione miejsce spacerów właścicieli psów z okolicy. Ze względu na zagrożeniami wylania z pobliskiej rzeki nie ma tu boiska ani placu zabaw. To samo miejsce, inne ujęcie. Pozdrawiam Danuta

Dear @MoniV , @KatyaL

I am very sad that I have lost the this list from my saved folder along with few other this morning.

I have been editing and adding to this list. Yesterday I have forwarded this list to few of my friends and in Facebook groups.

But this morning that list is not appearing in Saved under my places. I have also lost few other list and I had few places saved to add to Google map.

Please take immediate action, this list is very precious. From longtime i have picked, discovered these places and adding information.
