Feel free to check out this shared list below.
14 Best Free Places to visit in Kuala Lumpur Shared List

  1. Thean Hou Chinese Temple (https://goo.gl/maps/SxDLBEfYg5ZrwHLX8) (Photo above)

As a person living in Kuala Lumpur for many years, this is possibly the most beautiful temple to visit. It’s located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, but not easily walkable nor connected via public transport. The best way to get here is via rideshare or by car. The temple is located on the 2nd floor, and the best time to visit will be in the evening, just as the light fades into dusk, when all the lights of the red lanterns turn on. Be sure to also visit the rock statue garden behind the temple, and the upper floor of the temple. Great place for photography.

  1. Central Market Kuala Lumpur (https://goo.gl/maps/n1znoYKgNQMrandg8) (Photo above)

Central Market or locally known as Pasar Seni is the one place tourists cannot miss. It’s the best place for souvenir and gift shopping at possibly the best price in town. Getting here is simple as it’s one of the most connected places in town via metro LRT, buses and more. Here, do visit both floors and also the art gallery in the annexe block behind. Remember to do a bit of bargaining (prices are already low to start with). Things to consider purchasing include key chains, t-shirts, button badges, fridge magnets, arts and crafts, food stuff and more.
