- Bukit Gasing Forest Reserve (https://goo.gl/maps/n9pzEN9rwugYgby9A) (Photo above)
One of the centrally located forest reserves which is free to visit to get away from the hustles and bustles of the city. Great place to come for an exercise, or just to appreciate nature. Get some fresh air, and find some peace of mind. Small streams meander around the forest reserve. There are different walking paths around the area, some are quite steep and provide a good workout. Best time to visit will in the morning or towards the evening time. When visiting here, leave only footprints behind.

The national monument is located right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur city. Unknown to many, it’s the tallest bronze sculpture in the world, and depicts soldiers celebrating victory and remembrance of the fallen. The monument of 7 soldiers is built in the middle of a small park and it’s a great place for photos. One can actually walk to this park from the national square.
