Here’s the logo I created and submitted as an entry to the Local Guide logo creation challenge, a small gesture to celebrate 10 incredible years of Google Local Guides :tada::art::two_hearts:

My logo design features a revolving Earth with the Local Guide community at its core, surrounded by icons representing local businesses, eateries, accessibility, and more. The colors used have the following significance:

  • Saffron: warmth and richness of local cultures
  • Green: growth, harmony, and environment
  • Blue: trust, reliability, and discovery
  • Black: balance and sophistication, with lines representing transportation and connection

This design celebrates 10 years of Google Local Guides, embodying the program’s spirit of community, exploration, and inclusivity.
