10 stunning photos taken by Local Guides in Tokyo

Last week, more than 80 Local Guide superstars joined us in the Google Tokyo office for our first Connect Live pop-up event. Local Guides were invited based on a variety of criteria including level, types of contributions, and activity on Connect.

Many of those invited have shared outstanding photos on Maps. Some are passionate about adding accessibility photos while others love to get creative with their food shots. Collectively, the group has uploaded more than 215,000 photos and has over 622 million photo views.

To celebrate some of the amazing contributions they’re making on Maps, we’re sharing some of their best photos here on Connect. Tell us which one is your favorite in the comments below!

This is a Taiwan sweets shop.

Their sweets is so simple and very healthy. So it’s a must go shop in Tokyo.
