@SajolKDas you missed our great National Martyr’s Monument. I am adding with short description.

National Martyrs’ Memorial (Bengali: জাতীয় স্মৃতি সৌধ Jatiya Smriti Saudha) is the national monument of Bangladesh, set up in the memory of the valour and the sacrifice of all those who gave their lives in the Bangladesh Liberation Warof 1971, which brought independence and separated Bangladesh from Pakistan. I am always with you, @ErmesT , especially when it comes to visiting my own country.

Loved reading your post. How come I have never seen it before? This is like a traveler’s Bible. I think you need to continue the post as episode 1, 2, 3… and finally make it printed. It will be really helpful

@SajolKDas , this is indeed a great post. It sure will help our fellow local guides to decide on visiting our loving country. Please just don’t stop it here. Highlight other cities of the country as well, so that the travelers in the Local Guides crowd can make up their mind on when and where to go, if they plan to visit Bangladesh. Thumbs up for the post. (I wish I could give you few more kudos.)

Well done @SajolKDas ! This is fantastic that you put this Dhaka “Must Visit” List. I can hear and see @ErmesT cries of joy when he read your post all the way here in San Francisco!

I don’t know if you have already made a Google Maps List yet, but you should! Googler @kmajewski has a new List Challenge that your list will be perfect: List challenge: share your city’s museums and cultural landmarks

Cheers,

Karen
