Whenever I explore a new neighborhood, I love to check out the local shops that make it unique. I enjoy chatting with small business owners and photographing the aspects of the shop that give it character, both in the exterior and interior. As a result, I come away with an experience that is memorable and rewarding.
As Local Guides, we can share our experiences and support local communities just by capturing our visits to independent coffee shops, restaurants, street markets, or specialty shops with the photos we take and share on Google Maps. When we do this, we can help guide others to visit new and exciting places and help small businesses grow in the process.
Here are some great photos, taken by Local Guides like you, that showcase what small businesses have to offer in different places around the world.

I could add one in the Netherlands close to my office, it is a small shop about buying 2nd hand clothes and reselling them at affordable prices. The name of the shop is Neefjes & Nichtjes (Veghel, The Netherlands) means “nephews and nieces” for the main reason they open, mainly about kid 2nd hand clothes.
