I’m excited to share that I’ve recently added over 10,000 roads to Google Maps! But this isn’t just about numbers; it’s about a dedication to improving navigation and enriching our local communities.
Before adding any road, I made sure to verify its accuracy and ensure it would genuinely benefit map users. I firmly believe in quality over quantity. Adding roads simply for points or a high count is counterproductive and can lead to inaccurate maps.
My focus has been on:
Enhanced Navigation: Making it easier for everyone to get from one place to another place, especially in areas with previously incomplete or inaccurate mapping.
Supporting Small Businesses: Ensuring that local shops, restaurants, and services are easily discoverable by customers.
Opening doors to undiscovered gems: improving road connectivity means more than just maps; it’s revealing the unique beauty and cultural richness of villages and places previously off the beaten path.
Accurate maps are more than just lines on a screen; they’re gateways to smoother journeys, stronger local economies, and unforgettable adventures. I’m thrilled to be a part of building that, one carefully mapped road at a time.
Let’s build a better, more navigable world together!

Wow! That’s an incredible achievement—adding 10,000+ roads is no small feat! Your dedication to accuracy and quality over quantity is truly commendable. Ensuring that each road benefits users and improves navigation makes a real difference in how people experience their surroundings.
Your focus on supporting small businesses and uncovering hidden gems is especially inspiring. Connecting communities and making local businesses more accessible helps strengthen local economies and brings more visibility to lesser-known places.

Amazing achievement, @NareshDarji bhai!! Yes, it is not always the numbers; it’s about commitment and dedication to give it back to society/community we live in.
First of all many congratulations @NareshDarji for drawing 10K plus roads on Google Maps. This is another feather in your cap.
But most importantly this post of yours is a learning guide for many LGs who have just started drawing the roads on Google Maps. The way you have explained the focus areas while drawing road is a ready reckoner for the roaders.
I completely agree with you. Its the Quality over the Quantity and we must not draw the roads in hustle bustle.
